A vibrant and refreshing mixology experience celebrating the bright, floral, and tropical flavors of spring and summer, featuring light and dark rum in four delicious cocktails.

History of Rum: Light vs. Dark
Light Rum
Typically aged in stainless steel tanks or lightly charred barrels
Has a mild, smooth, and slightly sweet flavor
Commonly used in tropical, citrus-forward, and refreshing cocktails
Dark Rum
Aged in charred oak barrels, giving it a deeper color and complex flavors
Rich notes of caramel, vanilla, molasses, and spice
Best for bold, dessert-style cocktails and warm flavors

Boston Shaker – Used for shaking and chilling cocktails
Strainer – Filters out ice and fruit pulp when pouring
1 & 2 oz Jigger – Ensures accurate measurements

Hands-On Cocktail Making
Tropical Citrus Blossom (Light & Refreshing)
Ingredients:
2 oz light rum
1 oz fresh orange juice
1 oz fresh pineapple juice
0.5 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz honey syrup
1.5 oz club soda
Garnish: Orange wheel & edible flower
Instructions:
Add all ingredients (except club soda) to a shaker with ice.
Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
Top with club soda and gently stir.
Garnish and serve.

Guava Sunset Sangria (Fruity & Elegant)
Ingredients:
1 oz light rum
2 oz dry white wine
1 oz fresh guava juice
0.5 oz fresh orange juice
Fresh strawberry & peach slices
Garnish: Orange wheel & fresh mint
Instructions:
Muddle fruit slices in a glass.
Add rum, wine, guava juice, and orange juice.
Fill with ice, stir, and let sit for 2 minutes.
Garnish and serve.
Mango Basil Spritz (Herbal & Tropical)
Ingredients:
2 oz white rum
1.5 oz fresh mango purée
0.75 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz basil-infused simple syrup
2 oz club soda
Garnish: Basil leaf & mango slice
Instructions:
Shake rum, mango purée, lime juice, and basil syrup with ice.
Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
Top with club soda and stir.
Garnish and serve.
Toasted Marshmallow Dessert Shooter (Indulgent & Fun)
Ingredients:
1 oz dark rum
0.5 oz crème de cacao
0.5 oz cream
Garnish: Toasted marshmallow
Instructions:
Shake rum, crème de cacao, and cream with ice.
Strain into a shot glass.
Top with a toasted marshmallow and serve.
