Apple Pie Old Fashioned
Flavor Profile: A cozy twist on the classic — rich bourbon flavors with warm cinnamon, apple, and brown sugar notes.
Ingredients:

2 oz Bourbon

½ oz Apple cider syrup (see recipe below)

2 dashes Angostura bitters

1 dash orange bitters
-
Cinnamon stick + dehydrated apple slice for garnish
Apple Cider Syrup:

1 cup apple cider
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
1 cinnamon stick
Simmer for 10 minutes, cool, and store refrigerated for up to a week.

Directions:

In a mixing glass, combine bourbon, apple cider syrup, and bitters.

Add ice and stir for about 20 seconds until chilled.

Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple slice.

Rose Simple Syrup:

½ cup water, ½ cup sugar, 1 tsp rose water. Heat until sugar dissolves, then cool.
